We should have some nominations for leaders and then have a vote on it, with both a leader and a lieuftenant in case the leader is absent.  I think even achieving a 501c3 corporation is not out of the question.

Certainly, being of noble stock, Mr. Woodhope is an ideal candidate. Wise, charismatic, intelligent...what else would be required of a sovereign? I altruistically toss in my chapeau.

The landless gentry here, is far too chavalier with the lives of others to end up being anyone that people will listen to. I'm inclinded to see Shotoku as leader, he tends to think before speaking and listens well to others.

He's displayed a fairly reasonable blend of commitment and restaint, and if he's oriented towards being anti-undead then he ain't the scarry part of his religion.

My God most certainly cares that you die, for is it not written "All shall fall under the shadow of Dhol." It is simply a question of when. Good for me to be on your side then, as I have some pull and might be able to postpone your inhumation. As for being leader? As the most racially superior specimen, I am an obvious choice. But we must all speak to our strengths, and I feel a post of Party Mediator to be most in line with my talents. Indeed, few of you seem capable of accepting leadership, but if we all agree to adhere to a few simple rules, I would be honored to chair a central mediating position.

im sorry but its one thing to be in the party with a EVIL "Worshiping" cleric and then there is another to ask a vrtuous paladin,....like my self,  to follow such a fellow. If anyone believes in the pursuance of good and finds solace in Atvars ability and will to save your soul from dire distruction on this evil plane will surely follow someone of his cloth.  I believe that this ordeal that we have been sent out on was the ultimately the fate that was given to us by the all mighty God Atvar. Who else would have sent us into the abyss to destroy evil? An Evil God?Huh I think not.

My fellow companions, I'm not promising salvation, becasue each of you will be determining it by your own actions... (ie. Killing women and children ) but I can offer a virtuous guidance and the chance of returning home from this hell we are stuck in. Vote for me and Gods will... will be on our side.

Whomever our leader should be they should be able to set personal politics aside, which leaves Kael out.

If the the paladin wants to lead, he should have already been doing it by showing bravery on the battlefield.

Ahh...the vitriol against Lawful Good 'People of Faith' is getting a little out of hand. I would follow Kael or Shotuku as leader, but I would be much better, having been born to the position leadership is in my blood.

Except that you were unable to hold onto your position of leadership.

Personally I gotta say, anyone who is nominating themselves shouldn't be party leader. If you think you're a leader worth following, you should be able to convince 1 of 7 people to at least nominate you even if they don't vote for you.

its funny that the negativity comes from the one who tries to impose her view on the rest of the group. why dont you let the group decide, and i was only putting my self on the ballot. nothing more.

and i wonder where we would be with out my sharp sword beside the mighty axe of the dwarf? i meet my adversary face to face, not sulking behind the enemy and stabbing them in the back like a mere theif. my bravery in battle is obvious... I will sing my prayers and songs of absolution a bit louder next time i enter the fray, so that you can hear me and watch the might of Atvar slay their souls.

and finally I think a leader is fine for the duration of our stay in this plane. i agree with the cleric that we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and that we have a hard time following a single "leader". i would gladly cast my ballot for the cleric, or someone else thats has a few years under their belt, as a mediator. but i cannot, my faith restricts me,  to follow a leader who worships the god of death. i respect the cleric and his religion, but he hopefully understands my position.

Nice to see you down at my level.
Are all followers of atvar so full of themselves and that much hot air?
