Death may be the greatest of all human blessings.

I am attending the S.A. Writers Guild meeting tonight. That means I could be a tad late. Probably best not to arrive before 9 pm.

how did the poor doggie do?

In the end, it was David whose life was most at stake.  Pollux, somehow, cut, very deeply, into the webbing and pad of his left front foot severing an artery.  The vet said, "When I tool off your bandage, blood was spurting out."  If we hadn't taken him in, he probably would have bleed out over night.  The vet bills totaled $1,024.  I have to mention, props to y'all with kids.  I was physically sick after I knew everything was going to be okay AND HE'S A DOG.  If it had been a child, I would be writing this to you from an asylum.

Jeez, how much were David's resulting doctor bills?  I'm glad my chihuahuas cant put their paws on top of the fence.  Wait!  No I'm not!  That was not a weak moment of chihuahua compassion!

Damn, man. Glad you hurried home.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

I was told he is fine and has no idea that there was a problem.  Typical Weimer, probably thought the whole thing was really fun.  At least Castor didn't develop a strong taste for blood by licking it all up, that would be really bad...
