Great. An evil elf. Just what this party needed.
I'm willing to give him/her a chance. (Hard to tell with the haircut.)
I'll give her the same fair chance I gave the rest of you. You have my word on that.
Well, she's in for a treat then.

I’m just here because my employer asked me to lend a hand.
Hey, I did give everyone a fair chance. It just seems like everyone else is here for the wrong reasons.

My motivation is profit and I am sure that is yours as well.

Sure, sure. The dwarf is here to break things and hurt people. As for you, cleric, I've seen this pattern before. Godly guy comes into the poor part of town, does his missionary work, gets promoted within the church, and moves on. So pardon me if I don't put too much faith in your intentions.
I just hope this she-drow is someone I can trust.

And why, exactly, should we trust
you

Because I'm the only one here who wants everybody in this neighborhood to be safe. I am in the business of providing
favors
. I bring people together. I meet a traveler who's looking for a place to stay; I take him to
our
inn. I meet a merchant looking to move some wares, I take him to a shopkeep here in
our
neighborhood. Hell, I meet a guy who's in need of a scribe, I take him to Saldanri because I know his scribes do as they're told.
The important thing here is that if our little home gets a bad rap, nobody wants to go there. I'm outta luck, you're outta luck, town turns to slum. I don't want that to happen. I want our neighborhood to be a place where people feel safe.
That
is my agenda. I put our home first, and that is why I can be trusted.
And I am actually fairly tall for a hin.

Nice. So, when are you gonna go back to cutting yourself and shoplifting manga?

What's manga?
And I'd rather cut someone else. Perhaps you.

Yeah, well, boss Saldanri didn't say. So sit on your hands for a while and just muse on the gravity of those Morrisey lyrics you rewrote in your English notes today.

Are you speaking of Morrisey, that hack Elven poet? Ick.
I much prefer that traveling puppet theater known as the Joy Division.

Pretty sure Morissey was an evil necromancer poet, but that's just the histories talking. In fact, that's where you all see me (er, saw me-back before you became famously (in a dark slapsticky kind of way) famous around the town) often, with my nose in a book at a corner table, a huge tankard obscuring my visage; Elfy nose sticking out from hood. Alturas Kuzmicius you may call me, Keeper of secrets and seeker of (?). Often seen at the Wizards tower or the local elf chantry. Please wait a moment and I will show you a picture of myself...

When you find (?) let me know where it's been hidden.
