So, does anyone know anything about some old geezer named Giddeon Poole? And what about these Bucketts, anything special about them?

Why do you ask?

I've observed the esteemed Mr. Poole reading outside his establishment. In fact I've observed him doing nothing but reading outside his establishment. No customers, no barbery. 3 different books no less, an extravagance one might say. Perhaps he saved for retirement from his days as a squashbuckling rogue running around with some guy named Dirty Dick Trickle. Mrs. Buckett intrigues me. I'm wondering what business she has at the local apothecary, wherein one Demetrius Bay makes, sells and identifies wands and potions.

Yes he struck me as a seasoned adventurer type, but in his latter years he appears to be without the scrot to deal with a small band of goblins. This town seems to have enough higher lvl types that one would think they would have already dealt with the problem, but they appear to enjoy their squalor.
