If you have any questions for me, please post them by Tuesday.  After that I will be busy with work and such, but I am devoting most all of my free time before that to the game.  Some questions already asked:

     1)  Are there any resources/industries being exploited by the now ruling monarchy?
     2)  What are some of the gods worshiped in New Hope?
     3)  Are you really going to kill Paul on the first night?

I will have these answed (and hopefully any other questions as well) on Tuesday.  The answer to one of the above Qs is yes.   Grin

Whatever happened to electrum pieces and will this economy be using them?

Is there any king of local necropolis I should be aware of? I'm always on the look out for a new ghoulfriend.

I'm assuming that's dibs for week one.  Bonus xp for whomever invents the most gruesome and painful death for Paul.

No electrum.  Can't find them in the book, don't see as we need 'em.

Ahzrukhal is the head honcho ot the local necropolis, located in the ruins of the Museum of History.  I hear Willow is single.  Oops, wrong game.

Religion:

Many of the usual gods are worshipped here, especially Pelor by the humans.  I don't care who you worship (as long as you don't preach to me about it), choose whatever god suits your fancy.  One rule:  no pirate or ninja gods!  I won't abide them.

I am creating my own god for the game, Falaknuma, god of perseverance and drought.  He is lawful neutral and his symbol is the scorpion.  His is a new religion, gaining popularity in the arid plains of New Hope.  Few followers are in the cities, but they are increasing in number.

Several wee folk can always be combined into one normal sized being, with the bonus of two sets of naughty bits.

Industry:

Salt is big, and rare spices.  Wheat is a big export.  Cattle are raised in the more hospitable areas.  Most of the population live on the coast in cities.  The rest are small farming/ranching communities.  New Hope makes its own liquor from indiginous plants (think tequila--I know I do) which is a popular and lucrative export.  A Rare gem, Hopestone, can be mined, though rarely successfully.  It is a type of ice-blue diamond.

What is local law like?  How does it differ from the cities to the outlands? Does any law enforcement group even patrol outside the cities?

In the coastal cities, a militia made of of soldiers from Traumwelt patrol and keep the peace.  There is, of course, a hint of corruption among them.  The locals do not like the soldiers but are careful not to cross them.  Outside of the coastal cities there is no real law to speak of.  The small towns usually set up a local law group, but this is mainly to keep the peace and (untill recently) protect the community from orcish raiders.  Murder is frowned upon, as is thievery, but settling a grievance with a fair fight, even to the death...  Could happen.  Just assume that if what you want to do isn't completely evil or immoral, it's probably okay.

The communities take care of their own, remember.  If you did decide to cause a major disturbance, an angry mob might try to run you off or even kill you.  I am thinking more along the lines of frontier justice for these places.

Am I the only one not getting the whole Torgo thing?
